WD My Passport Ultra 2TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Titanium. When attached using a USB 2.0 outlet, the unit functions flawlessly. Of course, transfer speeds are significantly diminished. But if I attach this drive to a USB 3.0 outlet, the PC does not recognize the drive. This is the same PC that recognizes it when attached via USB 2.0. The WD website speaks of SES and other add-on software + needing to contact the manufacturer of my USB board in order to get the right drivers. The odd thing is that I have another WD external USB 3.0 HD that works just fine with the USB 3.0 board (I also have a Seagate HD using the same board, again without a hitch). The unit is thicker than the photos make it appear (think Altoids tin dimensions).
