In tune with its philosophy of “developing destinations not just hotels”, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group is organizing The 1st Lalit Shikarathon on October 22, 2011. The effort is to engage the local people in productive activities and also to promote the traditional Shikara. The Shikarathon, which is approximately 5 kms, will be flagged off from The Lalit Point and will touch Nehru Park, Char Chinar and finally culminate at SKICC Ground.

Our specially designed Shikarathon Experience will relieve you from hectic routines and take you through the excitement of speeding Shikaras’ racing in the enchanting Dal Lake. Come & join us to cheer the racing Shikara boats while you stay at the beautiful LaLiT Grand Palace.
